Ox-eyed Daisy a common plant loved by all pollinating insects

Due to the welcoming warm June days and the multitude of #garden shows in June such as #RHS Chelsea Flower Show, #RHS Garden Harlow Flower Show, #RHS Chatsworth Flower Show, #RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, #Hampshire Country & Garden Festival and the #Floral Fringe Fair to name a few, the urge to replicate these amazing spectacles encourages people to flock to open gardens, local garden centres and their local plant nursery's to buy those beautiful plants. We would just like to suggest that you lovely people mindfully buy plants that are #pollinating plants - normally made clear by the #bumblebee sign (see below on #Sarah Raven's seed packet ) on the label as not all plants are #pollinating flowers, they look beautiful but not all flowers provide nectar or pollen.

We found a great site - www.urbanbees.co.uk who provide a comprehensive list of plants and trees suitable month by month to plant in your garden - thank you to them for putting that list out there.

We are working hard to collaborate between the large nurserys as well as any small independent plant nurserys to make sure that 2020 really is the year of the '#pollination revolution' because we need to ensure that the demand is met by the suppliers so watch this space and happy planting!
